After serving as General Manager of the Development Division at Sega Enterprises Co., Ltd.(Currently SEGA Corp), he established Artoon Co., Ltd. As a representative director of AQ Interactive Inc.(Currently Marvelous Inc.), which has Artoon as its subsidiary, he conducted an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and accumulated know-how of managing a listed company, and established Arzest Corp. His representative works are "Fantasy Zone", "Hang On" and "Outrun". He has also produced numerous games as a production manager, including "NiGHTS into dreams", "Panzer Dragoon", and "Sakura Wars". With the experience and connections he has cultivated since the dawn of video games, he is taking on the challenge of new digital entertainment.
Sega Enterprises Co., Ltd.(Currently SEGA Corp), he directed, character designed and game designed the mega hit home video games "Sonic the Hedgehog" and "NiGHTS into dreams". He served as General Manager of the Production Division at AQ Interactive Inc.(Currently Marvelous Inc.). At Artoon Co., Ltd. and Arzest Corp., he has directed and produced number of popular titles such as "Blinx" series, "Yoshi Island DS", and "Blue Dragon". As a "playing manager," he uses his rich imagination to develop creative games for the world.
He worked at System Sacom Corp. and Ivy Arts Corp., where he was involved in game development for various genres and variety of hardware, and then served as Lead Programmer / Director for the game development at Artoon Co., Ltd. and Arzest Corp. From handheld consoles and smartphones to the latest generation of home consoles, regardless of the hardware or game engine, he always keeps up with technological trends, analyzes and solves problems from multiple directions such as hardware / software / gameplay, and promotes multi-platform support for game development.
